On Saturday, December 9 the evening performance will take place at the Beverly O’Neill Theater (300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802) at 7:30 p.m. The entire audience is invited to arrive at 6:45 for an engaging onstage pre-concert discussion with Music Director, Martin Haselböck, and renowned Guest Artist, Austrian recorder player Michael Oman. Matthew Faulkner, will host the conversation delving into the music showcased in "The Joy of Christmas" to follow.

“If you aren’t certain you know what a baroque orchestra sounds like then this is the perfect time to sample the genre, with two tickets for the price of one,” Faulkner suggested.

“You might have enjoyed the music of Mozart Vivaldi, and Bach, without realizing the music was considered baroque. Melodies of the violin, harpsichord, lute, and the recorder are common in the joyful music of the baroque period in Europe.”

Tickets range from $40-$80 per ticket. Visit https://www.musicaangelica.org for concert details and to purchase tickets, or call the box office at (562) 276-0865. The two-for-one ticket sale has been extended until December 1, 2023.
