90-Foot Shamrock Will Appear On The Santa Monica Pier's Ferris Wheel

SANTA MONICA, CA — The Ferris wheel on Santa Monica Pier will "Shamrock and Roll" on St. Patrick's Day weekend when it's lit up with a 90-foot-tall shamrock.

The Pacific Park Ferris wheel will feature a custom lighting program with green colors, pattens and transitions, including the shamrock, nightly from March 15-17, according to the park.

The wheel is lit up from sunset (about 7 p.m.) to midnight.
