SANTA MONICA, CA — As families get together to celebrate the holidays, Santa Monicans may struggle to find space in their homes to accommodate visitors.

Due to popular demand, Santa Monica Travel and Tourism brought back its "I Wish I Had an Extra Bedroom" program to help residents book discounted stays at over 20 participating hotels locally. From now through Jan. 29 locals have the chance to experience the city through the eyes of a visitor.

“'I Wish I Had an Extra Bedroom' is not only one of our most popular programs each year, but it provides residents the exclusive opportunity to experience their community from a traveler’s point-of-view, so we encourage locals to celebrate themselves or gift an overnight experience this holiday season and take advantage of these incredible offers,” said Misti Kerns, President and CEO of Santa Monica Travel and Tourism.
