Woman, Potentially Mentally Ill, Found After Going Missing

A woman who went missing from Santa Monica on Sunday has been found, police said Thursday.

Mychelle Dias Hespanhol, 26, was last seen near 4th Street and Broadway, the Santa Monica Police Department said.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A woman who went missing from Santa Monica has been found, police said Thursday, after previously releasing information asking for help in finding the woman.

Mychelle Dias Hespanhol, 26, was last seen near 4th Street and Broadway, the Santa Monica Police Department said Wednesday.

Police reported Thursday she had been found, but released no other details.

Previously, police said Hespanhol may not be familiar with the area and could require assistance. She may suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, police said.

She's described as a 5-foot-3 woman who weighs 128 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes.
