The most expensive home for sale in Colorado is an athlete's dream ranch, complete with an indoor running track and tennis court.

COLORADO — If you’re deep-pocketed enough to afford it, a $55 million ranch in Aspen could give you the opportunity to purchase the most expensive home for sale in Colorado.

Dubbed the 'Merry Go Ranch,' the 21-acre property features an eight-bedroom main house, a two-bedroom caretaker home, an indoor pool and a 13,000-square-foot gym with an indoor tennis court, according to the real estate platform Point2Homes.com, which put together a list of the most expensive homes in for sale every U.S. state.

The Aspen property also includes an eight-stall barn, five garage bays and a riding pasture.

"Located less than 10 minutes from downtown Aspen, the Merry Go Ranch offers the ultimate combination of natural beauty, seclusion, and access to world-class amenities," the property's Point2Homes listing read.

The most expensive homes on the market in the U.S. range in value from $225 million in California to $3 million in Nebraska, according to Point2Homes.com.
