Ozone Alert Day Today, Warm Weekend: Broomfield Weather

Until 4 p.m. Friday, an Ozone Day Alert has been issued by the Regional Air Quality Council.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Blame smoke from out-of-state wildfires for the high the number of fine particulates and increased ozone levels in the air in Broomfield and along the Front Range today, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said. Until 4 p.m. Friday, an Ozone Day Alert has been issued by the Regional Air Quality Council.

Those with respiratory issues or sensitivity are advised to stay indoors.
