CONNECTICUT — In anticipation of the arrival of Hurricane Henri, all campgrounds inside Connecticut state parks will be closed as of 4 p.m. Saturday, and will remain closed through at least 1 p.m. Monday, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).

All campers will be required to leave the campground during that period; there will be no exceptions. RV equipment, such as trailers and motor homes, may remain at the risk of the owner, but campers may not return to retrieve equipment or anything else during the closure period, the DEEP said.

All other equipment, including tents, must be broken down and stored inside RVs or taken off site, the DEEP said.
