Berlin Library Children's Department To Be Closed For A Day

The move this week will facilitate the installation of new bookshelves for the department.

BERLIN, CT — The local library's children's department will be closed for a day this week so it can install new shelves for its books there.

The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library, located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin, is getting new picture book shelves.

As a result, the children’s department will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 14, "so we can move books onto our new shelves," wrote the library in a statement.

"We’re really excited and think you’ll love it," wrote the library. "We’ll have a small selection of books in the lobby to check out, however.
