7 Danbury Restaurants Named To CT Magazine 2023 Best Restaurants List

DANBURY, CT — Seven Danbury restaurants were named to the Connecticut Magazine Best Restaurants 2023 list.

The magazine's readers named Pho Vietnam, at 56 Padanaram Road, the top Vietnamese restaurant in the state. The magazine's panel of experts listed it among the best new Connecticut restaurants.

Readers also placed Atlantic, at 176 Osborne Street, at the top of their list of Spanish or Portuguese restaurants in Fairfield County.

The experts picked 4 Seasons Mediterranean Cuisine at 54 Pembroke Road to be among the state's best Italian restaurants, and also named it a "hidden gem."

The panel also honored Market Place Tavern, with locations in Woodbury, Avon, Newtown, Litchfield, Brookfield, Shelton and 33 Mill Plain Road in Danbury twice, for its lunch menu and its overall value.

Minas Carne (Latin American or Caribbean ), Hanna's (Middle Eastern) and Barbarie's Black Angus Grill (Steak House) were also cited by the magazine's panel of gourmands.
