Renowned dance teacher Riskallah Riyad (Dolores Matzen), has been teaching Middle Eastern dance arts for over 40 years. Dolores is known for her energetic teaching style and the ability to communicate movement to students of any level!
Beginner classes focus on basic movements and isolations used in this dance. A wonderful workout for your body to help you look and feel great. For all ages, shapes and sizes! 
September session begins Wednesday, 9/11/24 at 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate the month long international Observe the Moon Night! Join us for an exciting hour-long program where we explore the moon using the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera’s (LROC) QuickMap tool on Chromebooks. We’ll start with a brief introduction and demonstration, showing you how to navigate the map and discover key lunar features.
Participants will then have the opportunity to explore the moon on their own or in groups, searching for notable landmarks like the Sea of Tranquility and Apollo landing sites. We’ll wrap up with a Q&amp;A session and a chance to share your discoveries. Chromebooks will be provided, and all ages are welcome. Don’t miss this unique space adventure!
Be sure to check out the Observe the Moon display in the Danbury Library and take pictures of the actual moon before September 14 and share it on social media. Tag #CTObserveTheMoon #CTSpaceGrant @CTSpaceGrant @DanburyLibrary

<ul><li>Bachelor or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or</li><li>Bachelor or Associate degree including 36 or 30 credits specific to *Early Childhood Education, with</li><li>Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience</li></ul>
*Note: Specific to Early Childhood is defined as coursework inclusive of &ldquo;Birth&rdquo;, &ldquo;Nursery&rdquo;, and/or &ldquo;Pre-K&rdquo;. Coursework excluding Early Childhood, &ldquo;K&rdquo;, &ldquo;Elementary&rdquo;, &ldquo;Secondary&rdquo;, cannot be considered for education requirements. Credentials accepted are Connecticut&rsquo;s Early Childhood Teacher Credential (ECTC), Praxis #113, #112, #065, #001, #002, #003, or #008.
