Skill Builders Club for children 6-9 years old @ Danbury Library

Skill Builders Club is an enrichment program for children going into grades 1-3 (ages 6-9) designed to build literacy and numeracy skills via stories, games, and hands-on activities taught by a certified teacher. Four learning “themes'' will span the eight sessions of the program including Storytelling and Problem Solving; Art, Geometry, and Patterns; Making Predictions/Reasoning; Brainteasers and Puzzles.

Each session will feature a read aloud, mini lesson, and then skill building games facilitated by teen volunteers. This program is designed to be an enjoyable way to get students back on track and ready for a new school year!
