Danbury Instructor to Host Free Children's Theater Open House

Danbury students are invited to a free Children's Musical Theater Open House that includes theater games, face painting, snacks, and fun.

DANBURY, CT — The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Foundation (GDICF) Theatre Troupe is gearing up for an exciting new fall/winter session of Musical Theater and is hosting a FREE Children's Theater Open House on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10am-12pm.

This class is open to kids ages 3-12 of all skill levels and encourages self-expression in a creative way while building a child's self-esteem through theater skills, team building activities and more.
Free snacks, face painting, theater games and fun.

The Open House and theater classes are held at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Ave., Danbury, just off of I-84, Exit 4. The production at the end of the 8-week session is a benefit for the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Foundationa nd also includes a food and gift drive for local charities.

The GDICF Youth Theatre Troupe provides quality educational musical theater classes for children and youth age 3-12-years-old. From cultural music & movement classes to educational shows that bring people of all ages a positive message through the art of theater, the GDICF Theater Troupe teaches youth self-confidence, team building, and community service while learning music and theater skills.
