Danbury Restaurant Has Liquor License Suspended

The eatery has paid a fine and will have its liquor license suspended for one day, according to state officials.

DANBURY, CT — A restaurant in Danbury will have its liquor license suspended for one day next month, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.

According to the notice, the suspension was for violation of a statute prohibiting "disturbances, brawls, unlawful conduct or gambling" on the premises. La Kabañita Restaurant, at 35 White Street in Danbury, has paid a $1,000 fine and will have its liquor license suspended July 13, according to state records.
