INLAND SECTIONS OF SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook and frost advisory for interior sections of southern Connecticut.

The advisory is in effect from midnight until 8 a.m. "Temperatures falling into the mid 30s will result in frost formation....Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered."

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 60. Northwest wind around 8 mph.

Tonight: Areas of frost after 1am. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 35. Calm wind.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 62. Light south wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers after 2am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 41. South wind 5 to 7 mph.

Wednesday: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. South wind 5 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 33.
