Motorcyclist Killed After Crashing Into Boulder In Danbury Identified

Police released new details regarding the fatal motorcycle crash.

DANBURY, CT — Charles Preston, 57, of Danbury, was killed when his motorcycle crashed in the area of 39 Brushy Hill Road around 7:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

"First responding units found a motorcycle had left the roadway and the male operator was severely injured in the roadway," police said.

Preston was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The initial investigation was completed by the Danbury Police Accident Investigation Team and suggests that the motorcyclist lost control navigating a turn and left the roadway striking an embankment/rock," police said.
