Motorcyclist Killed In Garbage Truck Accident In Danbury: Police

A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday morning in an accident involving a garbage truck, according to police.

DANBURY, CT — A 30-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday morning following a collision involving a garbage truck, police are reporting.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 6 a.m. to the area of 14 Mill Plain Road. First responders found motorcyclist Carlos Davila, 30, from Ansonia, down in the road.

Davila was taken to Danbury Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the garbage truck remained on scene and is cooperating with police, according to DPD spokesperson Erin Henry.

Mill Plain Road was closed while the initial investigation was completed by the Danbury Police Accident Investigation Team.
