New Fairfield Teacher Is The 'Kindest, Gentlest, Most Down To Earth'

NEW FAIRFIELD, CT — Great teachers matter. In New Fairfield, we're fortunate to have teachers like Alexandra Mills.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Alexandra is the kindest, gentlest, most down to earth teacher. I’ve seen her with her students, and she’s got this bubbly personality and style of teaching that engages her students and makes learning enjoyable. Even students she no longer has in the classroom get so excited to see Ms. Mills in the hallway and cannot wait to give her a big hug or high five. She works tirelessly during and after school hours to make sure that her students are working to be the best that they can be in and outside of the classroom.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Her passion for teaching is unparalleled—she truly is a remarkable teacher and human being.
