Wooster School Theater In Danbury Receives 14 Halo Nominations

DANBURY, CT — Wooster School in Danbury has been nominated for 14 Halo awards.

Wooster is among 90 Connecticut high schools participating in this year’s 21st Annual Halo Awards, which recognize student achievements in all aspects of theater.

Wooster was recognized with 14 nominations for its productions of "All in the Timing" and "Guys and Dolls," including "Best Contemporary Play." This year, Violet Restivo '26 and Will Thaler '24 will be performing "Sue Me" from "Guys and Dolls" during the awards ceremony, to be held on May 28 - 30 at the Palace Theater in Waterbury.

Best Sound Design And/Or Execution: Christos Chiotis, Todd Muralles & Rudy Kiernan for "All in the Timing"

Best Scenic Design And/Or Execution: Hannah Rogell & Leiana Cuartero for "Guys and Dolls"

Best Props Design: Todd Muralles for "All in the Timing"

Best Running Crew: Run Crew for "Guys and Dolls"

Best Featured Dancer(s): Carly Rae Stern & Joshua Wood in "Guys and Dolls"

Best Performance By A Supporting Actor In A Musical: Will Thaler as Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls"

Best Performance By A Couple Or Dynamic Duo In A Play: Will Thaler & Brianna Straiton as Don & Dawn in "All in the Timing"

Best Performance By A Cast In An Ensemble Production: Wooster School: "All in the Timing"
