Join Reiki Master Katie Cavenagh for a Reiki infused restorative sound bath. Receive the gentle healing of the sound waves as they carry distance reiki to each participant.
Reiki is an energy healing practice from Japan that channels universal life force energy through the facilitator to others. This energy reminds the receivers that they can choose to align with a frequency of healing and love in order to balance and harmonize their body. Once accepted, the energy knows exactly what to do and where to go. It offers a peaceful reset to what appears to be out of balance.
Sound healing is an ancient practice of utilizing sound frequencies to harmonize and realign the vibrations of the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic body. When the conscious mind can’t find a reference point for what it hears, it surrenders to the subconscious and quiets itself down. This helps the body to relax, receive, rejuvenate, rebuild, and realign.
When put together, the distance reiki sent over the sound waves is amplified. This can give a deeper healing experience, since both modalities offer changes at the cellular level. Couple that alongside positive suggestions for healing, and the body is able to restructure beliefs about its own ability to heal itself.
This powerful session is only open to 8 participants and registration is required. Please bring a mat, pillow, blanket, water, and anything else you may need for your comfort. Some gravity chairs and recliners are available on a first come, first served basis.
