Hartford County 4-H Fair

The 88th Annual Hartford County 4-H Fair will take place at 56 Egypt Road in Somers, CT, just off Route 83. Tickets are $6.00 for general admission, $4.00 for veterans and seniors, and free for children 3 and under. Parking is free. All proceeds go directly to the Hartford County Fair Association to cover fair operation expenses and youth programs. The fair is open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. The weekend is filled with 4-H livestock exhibits, non-animal exhibits and demonstrations, food trucks, live music, entertainment, car shows, and more to enjoy.

Included in the general admission price are a number of activities: Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, when visitors will be able to view and sit in large vehicles such as utility vehicles, tractors and garbage trucks. A car show on Sunday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, will feature local auto enthusiasts. Fair Weather Growers will be giving barrel train and hayrides throughout the weekend. 4-H youth will be showcasing their projects and participating in animal competitions and demonstrations on all three days.
