Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Enfield Crash Near Connecticut River

ENFIELD, CT — A motorcyclist sustained suspected serious injuries Sunday evening during a crash along a little-traveled connecting road bordering the Connecticut River.

The crash, involving just the lone motorcycle, took place around 6:46 p.m. near 14 Old Depot Hill Road. The motorcycle operator, a 50-year-old man from Somers, was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield for treatment of his injuries, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.

Old Depot Hill Road begins and ends just west of Depot Hill Road, along the river. The street consists of four small industrial/commercial business properties and three residential homes, according to Enfield land records.
