About AR Workshop® and Anders Ruff Co.

The brainchild of designers Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff created Anders Ruff Custom Designs in 2010 as a small, mixed media boutique and blog offering unique graphic design, styling, and inspiration to lovers of handmade artistry. Before long, the combination of one-of-a-kind artworks, inspiring environment, and the owners’ own inescapable enthusiasm led the duo to come out from behind the screen to create a business model of hands-on workshops where attendees could learn these skills from the designers themselves. All Anders Ruff Workshops feature the same functional décor that each owner builds themselves. From the hammer chandelier to the paint bar, workshop tables and shelves, each boutique has a signature aqua-themed vibe with a lot of DIY handiwork. Since the AR Workshop® was born in the flagship location in Pineville, NC in 2016, more than 105 new stores have joined the rapidly-expanding, woman-owned franchise.
