With Sierra Marie Robinson Third Sundays, 1pm-3pm in the Tranquility Room Make your own beautiful artwork while learning a new meditation technique that is relaxing and fun! This workshop focus is on finding peace in the symmetry of the design as you create your own artwork. In this workshop you will: -Make your own beautiful artwork -Meditate as you relax &amp; unwind -Sip delicious tea while you create -No artistic ability required $25-Includes all materials needed to create your mandala and tea will also be provided as you create. A safe/brave space to discuss women's health, healthy aging and menopause. Open for men &amp; LGTBQ+ to help support their partners/spouses. 
Date &amp; Time: From 6:30-8:00PM, starting on July 17 . Other dates include August 14 &amp; Sept 11 (same time period). 
 
Event Description: 
 
Join us for an educational discussion around women's health, healthy aging and menopause. A safe/brave space to connect, learn, share, expand OUR minds with Nathalie Bonafé, PhD in Biology and Health, Women's Health Advocate, Menopause Transition (MT) Educator. Dr Bonafé has years of experience supporting women in transition in the second half of life, and sees menopause as an opportunity to heal and take charge of our health and life. Come learn how you can understand MT better and better advocate for yourself or support women in your lives.

We are a quarter of the way into the 21st Century, and a health check-up on our planet is overdue. Earth 2024 (E24) is that check-up, in the form of an original 65-minute multimedia presentation, with compelling imagery, an accompanying soundtrack and live narration that takes a sweeping look at man's 2.5 million year evolutionary journey and the inadvertent peril our modern lifestyles have created here on earth. As the planet's population closes in on 10 billion, these perils and the actions we take (or do not take) today will determine man's future. E24 takes a sobering look at what is happening right now to the three foundations of life on earth: biodiversity, the oceans and our planet's changing climate. The impacts already happening to our economy, public health, food security and national security are put in plain sight. E24 then looks to the future, and what we need to do to keep these foundations intact.

EXPERIENCE ITALY AT A GRAND ITALIAN FESTIVAL
AVON, Connecticut - Prince Thomas of Savoy (PTS), the Italian American Club, located in Avon, will host their fourth annual "Valley-Wide" Italian festival called La Festa Italiana. This two-day event is at the club's facilities at 32 Old Farms Rd, Avon CT. Shuttle bus parking at Residence Inn. The first day is Friday September 13th (4:00 PM - 9:30 PM) and the second day is Saturday September 14th (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)
"We would like to invite everyone to help celebrate our Italian heritage," said Carmelo Mangiafico, Event Co-Chair.
This family- friendly event will feature a taste of Italy with locally made foods, cultural demonstrations, Free Live Music, Italian Car Showcase and contests.
Food booths will include Pizza from E&amp;D Pizza, Fried Dough, cannoli, Italian cookies, meatball grinders, PTS Italian dipping oil and Italian ice. Italian coffees served by Coffeeology.
Activities on Saturday include a meatball eating contest, the great grape stomping contest the cheese roll contest as well as Limoncello and ricotta cheese making.
"We are very excited to once again offer free live music for both Friday and Saturday. Come and enjoy our amazing food and stay and listen to a variety of live entertainment." said Dean Zappalorti, Event Co-Chair.
Live entertainment on Friday begins with Jimmy Mazz. Jimmy is a regular at PTS and his Vegas Style show complete with Italian Crooner classics never disappoints. Closing out the Friday Night Live music is The Savage Brothers Band, a staple in Connecticut and throughout New England since 1984. 
On Saturday we will have a famous Italian dance group Sorelle D'Italia in America, Vittorio Di Carlo "The Graceful Tenor" and to finish off the night, the 10-piece classic rock band Johnny Six Gun.
