GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Summer is almost over for students in the Granby and East Granby public school systems, and the 2024-25 academic calendars have been posted.
The first day of school in East Granby is scheduled for Aug. 28, and Aug. 29 for Granby students. The last day in East Granby is slated for June 9, and June 11 for Granby.

- Oct. 3: Rosh Hashanah
- Oct. 14: Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day
- Nov. 1: East Granby only - Professional development (no school)
- Nov. 5: Professional development (no school)
- Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving recess
- Dec. 23-Jan. 1: Winter recess
- Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 17-18: Winter recess/Presidents' Day
- March 7: Granby only - Professional development (no school)
- April 14-18: Spring break/Good Friday
- May 23: Granby only - Professional development (no school)
- May 26: Memorial Day
