ECSU PD to host Give Back Night Event for Special Olympics at Papa Gino’s & D’Angelo

Officers with the ECSU Police Department to host a Give Back Night event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at Papa Gino’s & D’Angelo located at 95 Storrs Road in Mansfield on Wednesday, September 25th between 3 PM and 8:30 PM. 20% of proceeds from sales with be donated to Special Olympics Connecticut.
About the Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Connecticut
The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Connecticut is one of the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicles - celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2021! A highlight of the program is the annual Torch Run, when officers from police departments and law enforcement agencies across the state participate in a three-day run leading up to the Special Olympics Connecticut Summer Games in June. The program extends throughout the year, as the officers also organize and host fundraisers that include bust are not limited to Tip-a-Cop, Cop-on-Top and Penguin Plunge events.
