'Hartford Bonanza' Celebration/Fireworks Postponed A Day
Saturday's iffy weather forecast has prompted event organizers to push back the Fourth of July weekend festival/fireworks to Sunday.

HARTFORD, CT โ Less-than-favorable weather conditions predicted for Saturday has prompted organizers of a major Fourth of July weekend celebration and fireworks event to postpone it a day.
"Hartford Bonanza," a major festival that takes place in Bushnell Park every year has been pushed back from Saturday, July 6, to Sunday, July 7, according to the Hartford Police Department.
The celebration โwhich features musical performances, kids games, food and beverages, among other fun events โ will still take place from 4 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, police said.

The weather forecast is calling for regular rain/thunderstorms all day into the night on Saturday, with a better forecast being predicted for Sunday.
