4 New Restaurants Coming to Foxwoods Casino

The restaurants have ties to Food Network's Guy Fieri, Iron Chef Cat Cora and TV star Richard Rawlings of "Fast N' Loud."

Foxwoods Resort Casino unveiled plans for a 2016 property development and expansion.

Four exclusive restaurants from world-renowned chef and Food Network legend Guy Fieri, “Iron Chef” Cat Cora and celebrity television personality star, Richard Rawlings of “Fast N’ Loud” will join the Foxwoods team.

Foxwoods will also welcome a pop culture restaurant favorite, Sugar Factory American Brasserie.

"Scheduled to open this fall, the four additions will enrich Foxwoods’ already robust lineup of offerings, continuing the resort’s ability to satisfy guests in unexpected ways while offering something for every taste and budget,” Foxwoods Public Relations Manager Adam Jalbert said in a press release.

The four unique restaurants are set for aggressive development this summer as the resort anticipates a fall launch for each opening. The new hotspots include:

Guy Fieri’s Kitchen + Bar at Foxwoods: Offers guests a taste of Fieri’s signature cuisine, featuring bold flavors and unique twists on traditional dishes. The 8,200 square foot, 190-seat restaurant boasts an open kitchen and bar design, where guests can now experience that lively Fieri taste so many have come to know and love right in Eastern Connecticut.

Cat Cora’s Wine Bar: The “Iron Chef” star’s newest restaurant – created exclusively for Foxwoods – will feature a tapas and wine bar, serving up exotic Mediterranean small plates, sought-after wines and creative cocktails.

Richard Rawlings’ GARAGE Bar & Grill: Championed by Gas Monkey Garage owner and star of “Fast N' Loud” Richard Rawlings, guests will enjoy a classic American venue serving up southern-style Texas roadhouse-style BBQ, burgers and local brews.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie: This celebrity gathering spot treats guests to a one-of-a-kind dining experience, serving decadent and tasty fare to satisfy sweet and savory cravings. The retail section offers a selection of the company’s signature treats and merchandise, including candy bins and the world-famous Couture Pops.

The additions coincide with Foxwoods’ plans to become the go-to resort destination for unparalleled food, drink and entertainment.

“We’re extremely excited about this latest venture, as it proves how Foxwoods is consistently leading the charge in evolving the resort experience by putting guests first and meeting their ever-changing wants and needs,” said Felix Rappaport, President and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino. “In today’s market, consumers are looking beyond the traditional ‘dinner and a show’ model, and we’re upping the ante to give them a fully comprehensive experience that includes creative food menus, inventive cocktails, pop culture and live music – or ‘eatertainment’ as we like to call it – all in one place.”

Foxwoods made the announcement as part of the Best Buddies Tom Brady Football Challenge at Harvard Stadium in Allston, Mass. where the property presented Best Buddies Chairman and Founder Anthony K. Shriver with a $75,000 donation on its behalf.

Rappaport and other Foxwoods executives were joined during the Foxwoods Halftime Show by Guy Fieri, Richard Rawlings and Melanie “Mel B.” Brown of The Spice Girls, who appeared on behalf of Sugar Factory. The event also featured Cat Cora, who appeared in a pre-taped welcome video at the onset of the announcement.

“We are determined to create new, exhilarating experiences that are completely unique to the region and exceed all expectations,” said Jason Guyot, Vice President of Resort Operations and Development at Foxwoods Resort Casino. “This is the first of many new amenities coming to Foxwoods as we solidify ourselves as the premier resort destination in the Northeast.”
