CT Casino Lands At Top Of Prestigious List

LEDYARD, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino was voted the number one best casino outside of Las Vegas in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The nominees for the award are selected by industry leaders, then the winner is determined in an open voting period.

Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun began phased reopenings June 1 after closing in mid-March due to the pandemic.

"We’re thrilled to accept this recognition from USA Today, especially knowing how hard our team members have worked to safely reopen Foxwoods over the last several months," Jason Guyot, interim CEO and SVP Resort Operations, said in a statement.

Mohegan Sun placed 10th on the same list.
