Fire Rips Through Gales Ferry Home

A fire reported Tuesday night severely damaged a home, displacing two people.

LEDYARD, CT — A house fire was reported Tuesday night on Inchcliffe Drive, according to the Gales Ferry Volunteer Fire Company. The fire was reported at 9:34 p.m. and crews arrived at the home minutes later.

The blaze engulfed the home, severely damaging it, according to The Day of New London. The two people inside escaped.

No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation by the Ledyard Fire Marshal’s Office.
