LEDYARD, CT — Foxwoods says it will move to the next phase of its plan with several aspects of the casino and resort reopening for business, according to a statement. The next phase includes the return of The Fox Tower Casino, six in-restaurant dining outlets, Monza World-Class Karting, additional hotel capacity and a new drive-in movie experience.

The casino has also brought back 2,000 employees with the start of this phase.

Foxwoods said that this move comes after receiving "positive feedback and business levels, as well as compliance of the resort’s new safety protocols." The casino locked down in mid-March and reopened June 1.
