Foxwoods Opens Casino Dedicated To 55-Plus
Foxwoods will dedicate one floor floor of the casino to those 55 years and older.
LEDYARD, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino will open what it claims is the first ever casino dedicated to only those over 55 years old. Foxwoods will dedicate one of its five floors exclusively to gamblers ages 55 and up starting Friday.
The Rainmaker Casino will be open 10 a.m. to midnight every weekend this month.
It will offer complimentary cocktails while gamblers play along with a DJ and exclusive radio giveaways every Friday and Saturday.

"As part of our commitment to providing an unmatched experience for our guests, we are thrilled to introduce this new offering for guests ages 55 and older," Jason Guyot, Foxwoods’ Interim CEO & SVP of Resort Operations, said in a statement. "The safety of our loyal patrons has been our number one priority since reopening on June 1, and we are excited to offer them this exclusive experience where they can relax and play in a safe, frequently sanitized environment."
