Largest Table Game Jackpot Ever Hit At Foxwoods
Foxwoods paid out its top jackpot available through the multi-link progressive table-game technology.
Mashantucket, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino paid out a top jackpot through its multi-link progressive table-game solution, Vice President of Table Games at Foxwoods Resort Casino Wayne Theiss announced Tuesday, March 29.
"The progressive system connects multiple poker-themed games to one joint progressive system designed to offer even more excitement and jackpots to its already unparalleled table games offerings," Theiss said in a prepared statement. "Alicia T. of North Reading, MA, claimed the eye-popping $612,159.27 through the system’s Mega Jackpot."
The multi-link system is comprised of three levels: Mega (Top Award), Major and Minor, the latter two of which hit on an average of every few hours to 10-15 days, Foxwoods officials said. All three jackpot tiers grow in real time and are increased through one wager.
“We are thrilled to have this winning technology available to our loyal table games players,” said Theiss. “This technology allows our guests to win continuously-growing jackpots at multiple levels, and this adds to the already impressive progressive table games’ payouts of over $1.4 million since September, 2015.”
