Ledyard Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

LEDYARD, CT — A winning lottery ticket worth $25,000 was recently sold at in Ledyard, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Ledyard resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $25,000 on a PLAY 4 ticket that was sold at Pumpkin Hill Market Place at 126 Gallup Hill Rd., according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
