Ledyard's 'Back to Reality' Weather Forecast

Our recent warm temps disappear for awhile and there are several chances for rain coming up.

Technically, it’s still winter and it will still feel that way — at least for Monday, March 14. The recent days of 60 and 70 degree temperatures and bright sunshine are a thing of the past ... for now.

On Monday, temps continue to plummet down to around 40 degrees and rain, fog and wind are in the forecast. Here is the detailed forecast for the next seven days, via the National Weather Service.

  • Monday: Rain and fog with temps around 40 degrees. On the immediate coastline, wind could gust up to 30 mph throughout the day and evening, and interior locations could see winds of around 15 mph. A half inch of rain is possible during the day, with another half inch of rain this evening.
  • Tuesday: Light rain or drizzle earlier in the morning, possible fog and then cloudy skies with temps near 50 degrees.
  • Wednesday: Sun and temps into the upper-50s.
  • Thursday: Chance of showers after 11 a.m., cloudy, and temps in the mid- to upper-50s.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny with temps in the low-50s.
  • Saturday: Temps won't reach 50 degrees; skies will be mostly sunny.
  • Sunday: Chance of rain all day, temps near 50 degrees.
