He moved to Ansonia in 1992. At home he had several housemates and was supported by Residential Management Services; who were more than staff… they were his “family”.

His interests were feeding his birds, gardening, taking out the trash and making coffee. He spent time in his recliner or sitting on the front porch. He enjoyed his personal time in his room where he had his collection of model cars, and music. He cherished spending his birthdays and holidays with family and friends. Weekdays Henry attended the Oceanview Day Program, at St. Vincent’s Special Need Center in Stratford. He enjoyed cooking, music, chair yoga and was avid at coloring. He had his own wall referred to as “Henry’s Art Gallery”. Henry was well known by many in his community. He could be found at car shows, concerts, shopping and eating out. Henry is described as a good soul, caring, helpful and a gentleman. What made him uniquely wonderful was his smile, contagious laugh and always extending his hand to others.
