NEWINGTON, CT — A developer, Ayesha Afzal, is seeking approval to construct an indoor trampoline park with an accessory cafe at 175 Lowrey Place, according to an agenda from the Newington Town Planning and Zoning Commission.

"SKY ZONE parks offer a wide range of activities for all ages, from open trampoline fields, dodgeball courts and warrior courses to birthday party rooms and corporate events," the application states.

Plans call for hiring 60 employees, and the owners say they will spend $3.825 million on the project, according to documents filed with the town. A cafe and arcade are also part of the proposed project. Each year, up to 80,000 people typically visit a Sky Zone Trampoline park.
