NORWALK, CT — Recent death notices from Norwalk.

Dr. Irwin M. Weisbrot, 94, of Norwalk: Dr. Weisbrot served as Chairman of the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS) statistical methods committee. In addition, he served on the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) premarket standards committee.

Patricia A. McLaughlin, 84, of Norwalk: Patricia was a devoted and loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She had worked at Happy Time Nursery School and Parkway Christian Academy earlier in her career, and more recently worked for MBI for over 30 years.

Anthony T. Awlasewicz, 82, of Norwalk: Beloved husband of Barbara (Leszczynski) Awlasewicz for 59 years, he served in the US Army and worked as a civil engineer in Westchester, NY.

Louis L. Malachowski, 80, of Norwalk: He was a lifelong resident of Norwalk and was affectionately known by his grandchildren as "Popa with the coins" due to his coin collecting and gifting in their youth.
