RIDGEFIELD, CT – Registration for this year’s "Founders Hall-iday Light Fight," a socially distant outdoor fundraiser to benefit lifelong learning, is open online here.

Ridgefield residents and business owners are invited to enter the contest by Nov. 21 and decorate the exterior of their locations with holiday lights no later than Dec. 4. Light displays will be available for the public to enjoy from their vehicles between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Dec. 9-18. Viewers can then vote for their favorite(s) by making a donation to Founders Hall’s social, educational and physical fitness programs for today’s active seniors. The contestant receiving the largest value in monetary donations will be declared the "Light Fight" winner. Results will be announced on Dec. 19 at the winning location.

All Ridgefield residents and businesses are eligible to participate, if the location is easily viewed from the road. There is no fee to enter the contest or to view the holiday lights. A minimum of a $25 donation is required to vote on the Founders Hall website.
