Get Ready to Enter Pink Land, A World of Compassion and Kindness

Pink Aid Fundraiser at Mitchells, Westport on October 12th, 2023, will Help Women with Breast Cancer in Underserved CT Communities

A fantasy backdrop, designer clothing, an incredible speaker, inventive cuisine, spectacular auction items and a great cause! The ingredients are all there to make this year’s annual Pink Aid Fundraiser the best yet.

Promising, “fashion, friends & gumdrops of fun!”, Pink Land features guest speaker Ali Rogin, a PBS New Hour correspondent, bestselling author and BRAC1 previvor. The daughter of Springsteen’s drummer, Ali’s book, “Beat Breast Cancer Like a Boss”, features the stories of women from Debbie Wasserman Schultz to singer Sheryl Crow.

Pink Land guests will have the opportunity to bid on some amazing auction packages including trips to Japan, Paris, Rome & Deer Valley, exclusive golf, art, jewelry and experiences – even Keith Urban’s guitar. Survivors at all stages of their breast cancer journey will walk the runway at our Celebration of Life fashion show, as we honor their experience and the people in their lives who have helped them along the way.

Since 2011, Pink Aid has granted $9.8M to support programs that provide diagnostic testing, wigs, recovery garments, meals, childcare, transportation to treatment, integrative services, education, survivorship programs and cover personal expenses for patients undergoing treatment. Grantees include established hospitals, as well as smaller grass roots organizations and new initiatives, including our own signature Pink Purse program which has provided emergency financial support to more than 3,000 women. Pink Aid is about the human side of this illness: enabling our neighbors, sisters, friends, and moms to get proper treatment regardless of financial barriers. All should receive "compassion until there’s a cure.”

In 2020, Pink Aid launched its signature program, Pink Aid's Pink Purse nationally. Pink Aid is the only national organization that provides emergency financial assistance to breast cancer patients within 48 hours to keep lights on and food on the table. Pink Aid has helped breast cancer patients in 30 states and our goal is "to turn 50 states pink."
