Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Another round of nasty weather is set to strike our area, and the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook. All of southern Connecticut is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, which calls for threats of flash flooding and a possible, albeit low, chance of damaging winds.

Today
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 70. South wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tonight
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 60. South wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 62. Southwest wind 3 to 8 mph.

A 30 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming northwest after midnight.
