“Dry and quiet weather today with high temperatures in the 50s and 60s. It will be a little bit colder near Long Island Sound. Heavy rain coming in tonight and tomorrow. I expect a very slow Tuesday morning commute with wind and rain. Back to nice weather on Wednesday!,” Simmons wrote.

We could also see more rain on Thursday and Friday too. NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan in a blog post says with two more above normal precipitation months Connecticut’s prolonged drought could be over.
