CT Weather: Very Cold Temps Monday Morning, 70s Next Weekend?

It's going to be another wild weather week. Tomorrow morning won't be pleasant and there may even be snowflakes before big changes.

When you wake up tomorrow and head to work or to the bus stop, for those schools that aren't on vacation next week, you might be confused and think it's winter and not the second week of April. Temps will be in the 20s for the entire state tomorrow morning and in the low 20s for northern Connecticut.

But the silver lining is that this may be the coldest night until the fall, says WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Fred Campagna. And it appears parts of Connecticut may also see its last snowflakes of the year on Tuesday morning. After a very minor storm Tuesday, Connecticut's temps begin to moderate and we could finally hit 60 degrees by Friday.

The long-range temperature forecast for Connecticut also appears to be normal, and after the last few weeks of chilly and snowy weather, normal sounds good.

The National Weather Service says "Temperatures will continue to average below normal on Monday as clouds gradually increase into Monday night as high pressure moves offshore. By late Monday night into Tuesday morning there will be the chance of some light snow across interior sections, and the chance of light snow and rain for the city and coastal sections."

On Wednesday the weather improves and it becomes sunny and warmer with temps into the 50s.

But then there is this to look forward to.
