MAP: Top Sledding Spots Near Ridgefield, According to Patch Readers

The impending storm will leave a nice coat of snow for sledding this week. Here are the best spots near you, according to fellow residents.

It seems as if Mother Nature is destined to give us yet another dose of strong winter weather, meaning the area's kids are getting ready to grab their sleds for a day of fun in the snow. Schools have already begun to close Tuesday, and districts will have to make a decision on whether to open Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, the area is set to receive over a foot of snow Tuesday. While it likely won't be safe to drive during the likely blizzard on Tuesday, the storm should provide a significant base of snow which will make for good sledding conditions during the rest of the week.

Below you will find a map of the top sledding spots located in Southwest Connecticut submitted by Patch readers. Please take note of your local laws to ensure that you are not trespassing on private property before you make your way to any of these sledding hot spots.
