Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

As a junior, Alex recently verbally committed to pitch at UNC Chapel Hill. She clearly has demonstrated success in her sport, but also maintains an A average in a challenging academic environment at St. Luke's School in New Canaan. She also recently earned her 10-year pin for participating in Girl Scouts and recently helped to plan the Daisy Camporee in an effort to inspire kindergartners and first-graders to learn about and protect the environment. She developed and ran an invasive species hike with the Daisy troops. She is looking forward to organizing and designing the Camporee again this year.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

She is passionate about everything she does, from softball to academics to volunteering.

Keep up the great work, Alexandra!
