The rainy weekend will bring seasonably lower temperatures, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s even creeping into the upper 50s.

However, things look to clear up for a comfortable Sunday with a high in the low 80s. According to the National Weather Service, here is a look at what you can expect weather-wise in Ridgefield.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 77. Light south wind increasing to 9 to 14 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph.

Saturday
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. West wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

A 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
