'She Never Complains About Anything': Ridgefield Star Student Athlete

RIDGEFIELD, CT — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

What sport does the star student athlete play?

Track and cross-country

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

She works herself to 110%, she never complains about anything. She has always worked so hard at everything and is always at practice rain or shine. She improves herself everyday and never stops trying to help everyone else around her. She makes everyone on the team feel special and loved. She is always there even if she just finished her race to congratulate you and tell you how proud she is of you. She has had captain behavior since the first year she did track, she is a natural born leader. She is one of the nicest people, who works the hardest out of everybody. She also is an amazing student. Last year while juggling both indoor and outdoor track she took 4 AP's which include AP Bio, AP US History, AP Lang, and AP Physics. She got 5's on all of her tests and is the embodiment of a student athlete.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

She tries her hardest at everything she does, and makes everyone feel loved and special.
