Connecticut Weather: Snow Showers Sunday, Cold Temps Persist

How are we enjoying the spring weather thus far? Oh right, it still feels like winter.

This is absolutely no big deal but there will be some snow showers on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. The National Weather Service says "below normal temperatures will continue through the weekend and into the early part of next week."

"Lows will range from the 20s inland, to upper 20s and lower 30s for the city and the coast. A disturbance will slide down from the northeast late tonight into Sunday morning resulting in increasing clouds with scattered snow showers. Temperatures will be unseasonably cool mainly in the upper 30s to lower 40s by the late afternoon.

"Skies will clear out for Sunday night into Monday as strong Canadian high pressure builds down from the north. Despite a good deal of sunshine on Monday temperatures will only reach the lower and middle 40s, with wind chills mainly in the 30s."
