Threat Of Storms Cancels Ridgefield Fireworks For A Second Time

For the second time in two weeks, the threat of thunderstorms has caused the cancellation of the annual 4th of July fireworks in Ridgefield.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — For the second time in two weeks, the threat of thunderstorms has caused the cancellation of the annual 4th of July fireworks in Ridgefield.

Originally set for July 2, the celebration was rescheduled to its rain date of July 9 due to the weather forecast.

There is no rain date for the latest cancellation. Town officials said they are "hoping to reschedule before the end of summer."
