RIDGEFIELD, CT — An upgrade to the water infrastructure in Ridgefield may cause minor traffic delays once it gets underway next week, according to a notification from Aquarion Water Company.

Construction is scheduled to start on a pressure reducing facility located at the intersection of Barlow Mountain Road and North Street in Ridgefield on Nov. 6. The construction of this new facility, combined with a water main extension, will connect Aquarion's Ridgefield and Craigmoor Systems, improving both the overall volume and quality of water available to customers in the Craigmoor System, according to the water company.

Customers should not experience any change in their water pressure as a result of these projects, which are expected to be fully operational by spring 2024.
