Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-91 In Rocky Hill Reported Friday

The crash had shut down the highway for a period of time on Friday afternoon.

At 3:45 p.m. Friday, the Rocky Hill Fire Department responded to a multiple motor vehicle accident with non-life-threatening injuries on I-91 North at Exit 24 in Rocky Hill,  police said.

ROCKY HILL, CT — At 3:45 p.m. Friday, the Rocky Hill Fire Department responded to a multiple motor vehicle accident with non-life-threatening injuries on I-91 North at Exit 24 in Rocky Hill, police said.

Upon arrival, responding units found three vehicles involved in the crash. All occupants had self-extricated. Connecticut State Police and EMS units were on scene. All northbound lanes had been closed, but by 5 p.m. all lanes had been reopened. Roadways in the town may continue to experience heavy traffic due to the incident, police said.
